OPEX Terms of Service
Effective date: October 1, 2026.
These terms govern a merchant's use of OPEX loyalty, automation, analytics, and commerce-integration services.
Merchant instructions and lawful use
The merchant controls the customer data connected to OPEX and instructs OPEX to process it only to provide the enabled services. The merchant must have a lawful basis for the data and for any marketing communication it initiates.
Data protection agreement
The OPEX Data Processing Agreement is incorporated into these terms. Accepting these terms also accepts that agreement and the Privacy Policy.
Security and access
Merchants must protect account credentials, grant staff only necessary permissions, and notify OPEX promptly of suspected unauthorized access. OPEX may suspend access needed to contain a security incident.
Service changes and termination
A merchant can disconnect an integration or stop using OPEX. Customer data is then deleted or anonymized according to the published retention schedule and applicable legal duties.
